Job Description

This role is ideal for school leavers, college graduates, or career changers who want to start their journey in HR and build a long-term future in people management, recruitment, or employee engagement.




Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in maintaining accurate HR records and employee files

  • Support recruitment processes including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications

  • Help onboard new employees by preparing documentation and organising induction sessions

  • Respond to routine HR queries from employees and escalate when needed

  • Maintain and update HR databases and systems (e.g., attendance, holidays, and training logs)

  • Prepare letters, contracts, and other formal HR documentation

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Grade 4/C or above

  • A genuine interest in HR, people operations, or business administration

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage confidential information

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Willingness to complete a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship (fully funded)

  • Eligible to live and work in the UK




Experience



  • No prior HR experience needed – full training will be provided

  • Any admin, office, or customer service experience is a plus




Working Hours



  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm)

  • Hybrid or fully remote options may be available depending on location and team
