Key Responsibilities



  • Receive, sort, and store incoming goods with accuracy

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently and safely

  • Operate manual handling equipment (after training)

  • Carry out regular stock checks and maintain inventory records

  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and operational procedures

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments

  • Attend off-the-job apprenticeship training (online or in-person sessions)



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 3/D or above)

  • Basic computer literacy for tracking systems and record-keeping

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Physically fit and able to lift and move packages (training and PPE provided)

  • Right to work and reside in the UK

  • Willingness to complete a 12–15 month Level 2 Warehousing Apprenticeship



Experience



  • No previous warehouse experience required

  • Any prior experience in logistics, retail, or physical labour is a bonus



Working Hours



  • Full-time, typically Monday to Friday

  • Shifts may vary between:



    • Morning: 6:00am–2:00pm

    • Afternoon: 2:00pm–10:00pm



  • Overtime available on occasion



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Awareness of safe manual handling techniques

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work under pressure
